- Use specific details that demonstrate your learning of trauma, personal and historical, and the different healing processes
My learning about this trauma is really interesting it made me realize there was more trauma in history than I thought but I really found out the true definition about trauma in history. The art represents the trauma had he had kidney stones in his inner organs and I made a heart to represent how he felt during when he had kidney stones. So I used two plastic bottles and cut them up in order to create a heart that represents the first two bottles he drank after the trauma. Then I taped them together to form a heart,I rapped it with tissue paper to represent his heart that he was in good health. Lastly I applied glitter to make it seem so people can see how kidney stones look like so we can all feel the trauma. Such as example ACES which represents Adverse Childhood Experiences or another example The great Depression overview videos I didn't realize how much trauma they indured during history. With this project It made me think about history from a different perspective because I really didn't think trauma had to do with history. But this project shows me there is trauma in different points of history it can effect this in different ways and it can change us for the better or worse. This project was cool and fun but it changed me for the better and it made feel like I can speak about my trauma to anyone because I shared it with someone and it didn't feel sad or wrong to talk about personal stuff. I completed this project by having an interview about the trauma and making a representation to show the trauma my brother experienced.
